The Mount Kimball is a mountain in the eastern Alaska Range in Alaska (USA).
Mount Kimball is located 50 km east-northeast of the village of Paxson . Mount Kimball is the highest point in the Delta Range , a part of the Alaska range. It is one of the 20 mountains with the greatest notch heights in Alaska. The Delta Range is bounded in the west by the Isabel Pass ( Richardson Highway ) and in the east by the Mentasta Pass ( Glenn Highway ). The northwest and northeast flanks of the mountain are drained from the West Fork Robertson Glacier and Robertson Glacier . Below the southern flank lies the nutrient area of the Chistochina Glacier .
The mountain was first climbed on June 13, 1969 by Tom Kensler, Mike Sallee, Dan Osborne and Grace Hoeman.
