The Mount Kooroocheang is a volcano , 14 kilometers from Creswick located in Victoria , Australia , is located. It is a large volcano that rises 230 meters above the terrain and 678 meters above sea level.

The volcano represents one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the Newer Volcanics Province and at the same time the volcano in central Victoria that has eroded the most .

It is reported that there is a small crater opening on the summit. There are also two side craters: the larger one on the southwestern foot and a smaller one on the northeastern flank of the mountain.

Lava covers the western slope and a wide lava flow drained to the north of the crater. When the volcano erupted in the Ordovician , debris was thrown out. In the volcanic ash were pyroxene crystals found in the size of one centimeter.

A network of channels formed on the slopes of the volcanic crater due to erosion. There is also a small quarry on the lower southeast slope.
