Mount Lagally is an approximately 2000 m high mountain on the Loubet coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Arrowsmith Peninsula, it rises 3 miles south of Vanni Peak in the Dorsey Mountains .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs from the years between 1956 and 1959. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1960 after the German mathematician and physicist Max Otto Lagally (1881-1945), a pioneer of glacier research .
