Mount Landolt is a 2280 m high mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises at the head of the Hudman Glacier in the southern part of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1961 after the American astronomer Arlo Udell Landolt (* 1935), aurora researcher at the South Pole Station of the International Geophysical Year 1957.
