Mount Mair is a 780 m high mountain near the southeastern end of South Georgia . It looms between Brandt Cove and Larsen Harbor on Drygalski Fjord .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the mountain in 1988. It was named after Bruce Findley Mair (* 1952), geologist of the British Antarctic Survey , who carried out extensive surveys in this area from 1974 to 1975 and from 1976 to 1977 to create a geological map had carried out.
