Mount McGee is a 1410 m high mountain on the Borchgrevink coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Random Hills it rises from the ridge on the north side of the Clausnitz Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the geologist Lawrence E. McGee, who from 1965 to 1966 on the McMurdo- Station was active.
