The Bear Creek is a tributary of the Sammamish River in King County in the State of Washington . The creek flows for about 20 km from its source in Paradise Lake near Maltby to its confluence with the Sammamish River in Marymoor Park in Redmond . The creek has two tributaries, Cottage Lake Creek and Evans Creek, and a drainage area of 130 square kilometers.
The Marymoor Prehistoric Indian Site in Redmond shows human settlement in the area around the creek that dates back to 4000 BC. Be backdated.
