Mount Moberly is a steep-walled, snow-covered and 1535 m high mountain on the Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises up from a ridge that extends from Mount Français in a south-westerly direction. A saddle at the head of the Hooper Glacier separates it from the neighboring Mount William to the south .
The appointment comes on the British navigator and explorer John Biscoe back in the 1832nd It is named after Captain (later Admiral) John Moberly (1789–1848) of the Royal Navy . The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey took measurements of the mountain in 1944 and 1955.
