Mount Morgan is a 999 m high mountain in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges it rises 8 km northeast of Mount Swan .
Scientists from the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered and mapped it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1966 after Charles Gill Morgan (1906-1980), geologist of the second Antarctic expedition (1933-1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd .
