The Mount Morgan is a 4192  m high mountain in the Sierra Nevada in the State of California of the United States . It is located in Inyo County in the John Muir Wilderness in the Inyo National Forest .

Surroundings

In the northwest is the Little Lakes Valley with various lakes through which Rock Creek flows. In the southeast, behind another mountain ridge, there is a rim valley of the Sierra Nevada in which the small town of Scheelite is located. Nearby peaks are Mount Starr in the northwest, Broken Finger Peak in the east, and Bear Creek Spire , Mount Dade , Mount Abbot, and Mount Mills in the southwest. The dominance is about 15.86 km, so the mountain is the highest elevation within a 15.86 km radius. It is overlooked by Mount Humphreys, which lies south-southeast .
