Mount Mumford

Mount Mumford is a 1580  m high mountain in Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Gutenko Mountains , it is the central elevation of a series of rocky peaks 6 km north of the western end of the Rathbone Hills .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1976 after Joel H. Mumford (* 1944), a physician at Palmer Station in 1972.
