Mount Odin is a 2,147 meter high mountain in the Qikiqtaaluk region of the Canadian Nunavut Territory . It is the highest mountain on the Baffin Island and in the Baffin Mountains and the fifth highest mountain in the Arctic Cordillera . The mountain is 46 km north of Pangnirtung and south of Mount Asgard . He is named after Odin , the main god of Norse mythology and the north Germanic religion . The south side of Mount Odin consists of a steeply sloping rock wall, while the north side is glaciated.
