Othmar Motter
Othmar Motter (born November 3, 1927 in Hard ; † December 17, 2010 there ) was an Austrian graphic artist.
Live and act
In 1952, Othmar Motter founded the graphics studio Vorarlberger Graphik in Vorarlberg together with Hans Kaiser and Sylvester Licka . Like the two of them, he had previously attended the Federal Higher Education and Research Institute for Graphics in Vienna.
As a commercial graphic artist, he created numerous company logos, such as that of the Austrian lottery and toto society, as well as the logos of well-known Vorarlberg companies such as Pfanner Fruchtsaft , Vorarlberger Kraftwerke etc. a. He was also responsible for the Motter Tektura font used by numerous international companies such as Apple and Reebok . But other fonts as well as numerous logos from well-known companies have been developed by him over the decades.
