Mount Oona is a 2170 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises at the northern end of a ridge between the Helm and Lowery glaciers in the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the Estonian geophysicist Hain Oona (* 1945), aurora researcher of the United States Antarctic Research Program at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1964.
