Mount Osborne is a 2600 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 8 km east of Mount Craddock in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1957 and 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1961 after Thomas S. Osborne, craftsman in the US Navy, who was the winter crew of the South Pole Station in 1961 1957 had listened.
