Mount Pico ( Spanish Monte Pico , 'Schnabelberg' ; in the United Kingdom Mount Rokitansky ) is a 1700 m high and pointed mountain in the north of the Brabant Island in the Antarctic Palmer Archipelago . It rises at 5.5 km northeast of Driencourt Point .
Participants in an Argentine Antarctic expedition lasting from 1955 to 1956 gave it its descriptive name, which the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated into English in 1965. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee, however, named the mountain on September 23, 1960 after the Austrian pathologist Carl von Rokitansky (1804-1878).
