Mount Razorback ( German Finnwal berg ) is a roughly 1600 m high and rugged mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It towers over the Staten Island Heights of the Convoy Range .
The New Zealand northern group of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named it descriptively after its shape reminiscent of a fin whale.
