Mount Remington is a 1775 m mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the northern part of the Helliwell Hills it rises 6 km northwest of Mount Bresnahan .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years between 1960 and 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1964 after the American meteorologist Benjamin F. Remington Jr. (1932– 2002), who worked at Little America V Station from 1957 and at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1959 .
