Mount Rich is an isolated mountaintop in the Brown Hills of the Cook Mountains in Antarctica's Ross Dependency . It rises 8 km northwest of Diamond Hill .
Participants in a 1962-1963 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions made a map. It is named after the American geologist Charles C. Rich (* 1922) from the United States Antarctic Research Program , deputy head of the research trip.
