Mount Tarr is a 1,500 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . In the Porthos Range of the Prince Charles Mountains, it rises 2.5 km east-southeast of Mount Creighton .
The Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) aerial photographs from 1965 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Frank Tarr, an aircraft engineer in an ANARE campaign in 1969 to survey the Prince Charles Mountains.
