Mount Terwileger is a 1200 m high mountain in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises at the southeast end of the Scaife Mountains on the northern flank of the Ueda Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 1968 after Stephen E. Terwileger, Hospital Corpsman at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Year 1967.
