Mount Weeks is a table mountain in the Ross Dependency of Antarctica . It rises 10 km north of Cranfield Peak on the western edge of the Prince Andrew Plateau in the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
Participants in the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961–1962) named him after Lieutenant James W. Weeks (1936–2013) of the United States Navy , a pilot in reconnaissance and supply flights during this research trip .
