Mount Wise is a 815 m high mountain of bare rock on the Scott coast of East Antarctica Victoria Land . It is the highest point on the Brown Peninsula .
The mountain is named after Keith Charles Wise, who explored the Brown Peninsula during a campaign of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition from 1958 to 1959 .
