Mount Wisneski is a 2334 m high and a ridge- like mountain in East Antarctica Victoria Land . It forms the southern end of the Lashly Mountains near the polar plateau . A lot of rock is exposed on its southern cliff and on the eastern ridge .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2006 after Stanley P. Wisneski III., Who was responsible for the cooperation of the National Science Foundation with the service providers ITT Antarctic Services and Antarctic Support Associates and in two Antarctic winter and 11 summer campaigns between 1985 and 1999 at the McMurdo Station and the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station participated in the logistics, operation and technical implementation.
