Mouresi ( Greek Μουρέσι ( n. Sg. )), Other form: Mouressi , in older forms: Mouresio , Mouresion and Mouressio , is a village in Greece and part of the municipality of Zagora-Mouresi in the Thessaly region .
It is located in the eastern part of the Magnisia regional district on the forested eastern slope of the Pelion Mountains with a view of the Aegean Sea , approx. 395 m above sea level. On the platia (village square), which is shaded by three large linden trees, stands the church of Agia Triada (Holy Trinity) from 1776.
Mouresi is accessible via a road that connects the places on the east side of the Pelion. Via it you can get to the neighboring towns of Tsangarada and Kissos . Another neighboring town is Agios Dimitrios. The districts of Agios Ioannis Mouresiou (inhabitants: 30) and Damouchari (Νταμούχαρη, inhabitants: 33) on the coast are also connected by roads and offer bathing beaches. There is a regional bus connection to the city of Volos , about 45 km away .
In 2011, 548 people lived in the area of Mouresi, 485 of them in the village itself.
