The Mowich Lake is a lake in the northwest of Mount Rainier National Park in Pierce County in the State of Washington ft at an altitude of 4,929 (1,502 m). The name "Mowich" comes from the Chinook Wawa and means " deer ".

Access to the lake is provided by a 17 mi (27.4 km) long runway , which is open to vehicles from mid-June / early July. There is a popular campsite at Mowich Lake, which has thirty sites for tents in the summer ; there are also washrooms, tables and rubbish bins.

From the Mowich Campground, hikers can access the Wonderland Trail , Eunice Lake , Tolmie Peak , Spray Park, and Spray Falls. Primary forests , waterfalls , streams , cliffs and wildflower meadows characterize the surrounding areas.

Fishing at Mowich Lake is generally not very exciting, as there is no fish stocking in the area and there are no spawning areas.
