The Mowinckel Coast ( Norwegian Mowinckelkysten ) is a coast in the west of Bouvet Island . It is located between Cape Lollo in the north and Cape Fie in the south. The Victoria Terrace Coast connects to the northwest and the Vogt Coast to the west .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1980. It is named after the Norwegian shipowner and politician Johan Ludwig Mowinckel (1870–1943), three times Prime Minister of Norway .
