The Mud Glacier is a 10.5 km long valley glacier in the Boundary Ranges in British Columbia, Canada.
geography
The 0.9 km wide glacier is located on the eastern edge of the Stikine Icecap not far from the Alaska border . The glacier's nutrient area lies below the southeast flank of Kate's Needle at an altitude of about 800 m . The Mud Glacier flows in an easterly direction. Below approximately 80 m convenient height glacier is a Glacial Lake , the km over a long drain 3 to Stikine River drained. 25 km further north the Flood Glacier reaches the river valley of the Stikine River, 16 km further south the Great Glacier .
Glacier development
The glacier tongue is steadily retreating. The glacier edge lake is growing accordingly. Its length is now 3.4 km.
