Muhand Khamis Saifeldin (born January 13, 1999 ) is a Qatari middle-distance and obstacle runner .

Athletic career

Muhand Khamis Saifeldin gained his first experience at international championships at the 2015 Asian Youth Championships in Doha , where he won the gold medal in the 2000 m obstacle course and finished fifth with the Qatari sprint relay (1000 meters). He then took part in the Youth World Championships in Cali , where he was eliminated in the preliminary round with 6: 22.11 min. In 2016 he won the gold medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City in 9: 26.79 min and was eliminated again in the first round at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, with 9: 29.76 min over 3000 m obstacle out. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where he finished fifth in the 800-meter run in 1: 56.94 minutes . At the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu he defended his title in the obstacle course and also won over 1500 meters in 3: 49.30 minutes.

In 2019 he took part in the Asian Championships in Doha for the first time , where he finished eighth over 1500 meters in 3: 45.61 minutes.
