Muk Kang

Muk Kang (born July 20, 1979 in Berlin ) is a former South Korean football player .

career

Kang, who grew up in Berlin-Tempelhof , practiced the martial arts Taekwondo as a teenager , played soccer and started football in the junior division of the Berlin Bears . He made the leap into the youth team of Berlin and a European team, which competed in the United States against the team of Mexico . With the men of the Berlin Adler , he entered the top German division, the GFL , while at the same time completing an apprenticeship as a gas and water plumber.

For the 2004 season, the 1.83 meter tall player, who was used in defense, joined the Dresden Monarchs with other eagles within the GFL . In 2006, Kang accepted an offer from the Braunschweig Lions . He played for Lower Saxony until the end of the 2012 season and was also used there as a wide receiver in the attack . With Braunschweig he was German champion in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

In 2013 he went to southern Germany for professional reasons and joined the Ingolstadt Dukes  , with whom he became champion of the Regionalliga Süd in 2014.
