Murat Gözay (* 27 April 1972 in Hamburg ) is a German politician of the party Alliance 90 / The Greens Hamburg and was 2015-2020 member of the Hamburg Parliament .

biography

Gözay graduated from a technical high school in 1992 and then does military service . From 1993 he studied educational science , psychology and sociology at the University of Hamburg , which he graduated in 2001 with a diploma in education .

From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the Hamburg-Mitte district assembly . In the 2015 mayor election , he was given a direct mandate in constituency 2 . He was a specialist spokesman for Europe and international affairs and a member of the budget committee. He no longer belongs to the citizenship elected in 2020.
