Murat Sözgelmez (born August 21, 1985 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Sözgelmez played in the youth of Altay İzmir . In the 2004/05 season was appointed to the professional team. He only played four games and joined Sivasspor on a free transfer for the 2005/06 season . There he was a regular player until the 2008/09 season, but since then he has mostly only been substituted on.
In the summer of 2012 he moved to the Turkish second division club Karşıyaka SK , which he left during the winter break. For the second half of the 2011/12 season he moved within the league to Çaykur Rizespor .
In the 2012/13 season he was runner-up with the club and thus rose to the Süper Lig . However, Sözgelmez stayed in the TFF 1st Lig and moved to the new season for promoted Balıkesirspor .
In the summer of 2014 Sözgelmez moved to the second division Antalyaspor . In the next winter break he moved on to league rivals Elazığspor .
The third division MKE Ankaragücü signed him for the 2015/16 season .
National team
Sözgelmez was nominated once for the second selection of the Turkish national team during his time at Sivasspor and made his international debut in this encounter against the Second Guard of Ukraine.
