The Austrian company Murexin is a Schmid Industrie Holding company with headquarters in Wiener Neustadt . The company is primarily known in the field of construction chemicals and building protection . With an annual production volume of approx. 70,000 tons, the company achieved sales of around 100 million euros in 2009.
Since the opening of the Eastern European borders, the company has set up subsidiaries in many of these countries. In Germany, its products are sold by Baumit .
Tile laying technology
The company has been producing mortars and adhesives for tiles since 1986 . Murexin produces leveling compounds, installation products for the tiler or special products for joint renovation as well as cleaning or care products for ceramic coverings that are necessary for preparing the substrate.
Construction technology and chemistry
Murexin has traditionally developed products that can be assigned to the field of construction chemistry. Their products are used in particular in road and bridge construction and in residential and industrial construction and are used here for concrete coatings, seals on buildings or concrete repairs.
Durlin
With the takeover of the traditional Austrian paint and varnish manufacturer Durlin in 1999, Murexin is now also active in this area. Facade plaster to facade paints , from emulsion paints to varnishes, or protective varnishes for wood, metal, concrete or walls and special water-based aqua products have been offered by the company since then.
Sports sponsorship
The company is the main sponsor of the Austrian futsal club Murexin All Stars and the Austrian Futsal Bundesliga.
