The Murrish Glacier is a 25 km long glacier on the Black Coast of the Palmerland in the south of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows in an east-northeast direction to Stockton and Abendroth Peak , where it merges with the northern flank of the Gain Glacier before the latter flows into the Weddell Sea across from Morency Island .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1976 after the biologist David E. Murrish (* 1937) of the United States Antarctic Research Program , who between 1972 and 1975 headed a group to study the peripheral vascular control mechanism in birds on the Antarctic Peninsula.
