Musica Diablo is a Brazilian thrash metal band from São Paulo that was formed in 2008.
history
The band was founded in 2008 by guitarist Andre NM. Together with Ricardo Brigas (electric bass) and Edu Nicollini (drums) they played a few pieces every week. In the beginning they covered pieces by Kreator , Nuclear Assault and Municipal Waste . In the meantime they developed some of their own pieces. At the end of the year they recorded a few demos in their recording room. As a result, the search for a suitable singer began. Derrick Green , singer with Sepultura and friend of Andre NM, got the job .
The band continued to develop new songs, so that by mid-2009, 15 songs were completed. In November of that year André Curci joined the band as the second guitarist. In January 2010 the band recorded their first album in Rio de Janeiro under the direction of Rafael Ramos . A month later the vocal track was recorded by singer Derrick Green in São Paulo, again with producer Ramos.
The self-titled album was released in May 2010.
style
The band plays classic Thrash Metal, which is played fast and has a high technical level. It is compared to other bands in the genre such as Exodus , Nuclear Assault, Municipal Waste and the early Sepultura.
