Musikmesse International Press Award
The Musikmesse International Press Award , MIPA for short , is a prize that the international press has been awarding since 2000 for the best products of the year (hardware or software) in the field of musical instruments , music production and pro audio equipment. The Musikmesse International Press Award is an undoped prize that was developed by the former managing director and founder of Musikmedia Verlag Gerald Dellmann. The winners in more than forty categories are chosen by more than one hundred international magazines. This 'Grammy' of the musical instrument industry is traditionally awarded in a large gala during the Frankfurt / Prolight + Sound music fair . The MIPA Lifetime Achievement Award category is the highlight .
