The Muus Glacier is a glacier on the Black Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows between the Snyder Peninsula and Strømme Ridge to the north side of Odom Inlet .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it in 1974. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1976 after the oceanographer David Muus, who was part of the United States Antarctic Research Program from 1971 to 1972 on board the USCGC Northwind in the area of Rossmeers and served aboard USCGC Glacier in the Weddell Sea from 1974 to 1975 .
