The Odom Inlet is an ice-covered bay at the Black Coast of Palmer Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It lies between Cape Howard and Cape MacDonald .
Participants of the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered the bay during explorations over land and from the air. It is named after Howard Talmadge Odom (1912–1986), radio operator of the East Base on Stonington Island on this research trip.
