MyFerryLink was a ferry company founded in 2012 as a cooperative that emerged from the bankruptcy of the former SNCF subsidiary SeaFrance . It operated from August 20, 2012, the two RoRo - ferries Rodin and Berlioz and from November 28, 2012 with the RoPax -Fähre Nord Pas-de-Calais , a ferry service between Calais and Dover . MyFerryLink offered passengers up to 16 crossings between Dover and Calais and additional cargo crossings per day.

The employees on board the MyFerryLink ships were all members of a workers' cooperative - a Société coopérative et participative (Scop). The latter operated the ferry connection between Great Britain and France.

The British competition commission CMA decided on June 6, 2013 that Eurotunnel , which had chartered the three MyFerryLink ships to Scop, could no longer operate the ferry service from Dover. Eurotunnel appealed against this decision and the ferry connection continued to operate. On January 9, 2015, the court ruled that the company would have to be sold within the next six months. MyFerryLink successfully took action against this: In mid-May 2015, another judgment was made, according to which there had been serious errors in the CMA's analysis. The initial decision based on this was canceled and the ferry connections could continue to be operated. On June 8, 2015 it was announced that DFDS is taking over the two ships Rodin and Berlioz by way of a lease-buy procedure . The freight ferry Nordpas des Calais will continue to operate Eurotunnel as a dangerous goods ferry . On June 24, 2015, MyFerryLink employees blocked the tunnel under the English Channel to protest the transfer of the ships to DFDS. On June 30, 2015, they repeated their actions there and also in the port of Calais.

MyFerryLink ceased operations on July 2, 2015. The Nord Pas-de-Calais has been operating as the Al Andalus Express for the Förde shipping company Seetouristik between Spain and Morocco since 2016 .
