MySky is a skyscraper in the center of the new Monte Laa district in Vienna's 10th district of Favoriten . The construction project on Laaer-Berg-Straße consists of a 20-storey high-rise and a nine-storey building. Both structures are connected by a low-rise building with a roof terrace.

About MySky

On the lower floors, the WBV-GPA Housing Association for private employees is developing and building 100 subsidized rental apartments on the first nine floors (including 35 "SMART apartments") and a dormitory with 180 places for young people. From the 10th floor, 128 condominiums between 45 and 145 square meters will be built, which were developed by the real estate developer Strauss & Partner Development , the Austrian subsidiary of UBM Development AG . The usable area is around 8,200 square meters.

history

In 2015, the go-ahead was given for the first nine floors, on which the WPV-GPA Housing Association for Private Employees Gemeinnützige GmbH is building subsidized apartments and a student residence. In autumn 2016, construction work began on the tenth floor for the privately financed apartments from Strauss & Partner Development. Construction work on the MySky should be finished in autumn 2017.

The MySky residential building is located on Laaer-Berg-Straße, in the heart of the new Monte Laa district in the 10th district of Favoriten. The FH Campus Wien, the Generali Arena and a number of parks such as the Bohemian Prater , the Löwygrube leisure area , the Laaer-Berg-Park and the Alfred-Böhmer-Park are in the immediate vicinity .
