Settlement and residential area Monte Laa

The cladding construction

Monte Laa campus
On May 14, 2007, the ground-breaking ceremony for the Monte Laa campus was carried out south of the autobahn overflattening between Rudolf-Friemel-Gasse and Käthe-Odwody-Gasse (both newly built dead ends starting from Laaer-Berg-Strasse) . The approximately 8,500 m² educational facility was designed by the architects Nehrer and Wimmer. In summer 2008 a kindergarten was completed with a capacity for 10 groups, i.e. around 250 kindergarten places. In 2010, a primary school with 16 classes for around 400 primary school students was completed. The building also includes a music school , a sports field and a day nursery .
