Myer Rosenblum (born January 10, 1907 in Pretoria , † April 18, 2002 in Sydney ) was an Australian rugby union player and hammer thrower of South African origin.
Rosenblum came from a Belarusian - Jewish family who had emigrated to South Africa and moved to Australia in 1914.
In 1928 he was a member of the New South Wales Waratah squad four times . At the British Empire Games in Sydney in 1938 , he was fifth in the hammer throw. In 1934 and 1936 he was Australian champion in this discipline. In 1938 he founded the law firm M. Rosenblum and Co, in which the future Prime Minister John Howard began his first job in 1959 . In 2000 he was honored with the Australian Sports Medal and in 2001 with the Medal of the Order of Australia .
