Mykolas Pronckus

Mykolas Pronckus (born March 24, 1936 in Rietavas ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1946 to 1950 he studied at Linkuva grammar school in the Rajongemeinde Pakruojis . In 1954 he graduated from the technical center for agriculture in Klaipėda and from 1955 to 1965 the diploma course in agronomy at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . From 1977 to 1980 he was an apprentice at the research institute. In 1982 he received his PhD in agricultural science . In 1954 he worked in Varniai , in Karolis-Požėla - collective farm as an agronomist. In 1989 he was the first secretary of the Lietuvos komunistų partija in the district of Plungė . From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija and from 2001 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

From 1992 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas and from 1990 to 1993 a member of the Plungė Council .
