Mylzi ( Ukrainian Мильці ; Russian Мильцы Milzy , Polish Mielce ) is a village in the Ukrainian Volyn Oblast with about 200 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1537, belongs administratively to the district council of Sokolyschtsche in the east of Stara Vyshivka district .
The village is situated at an altitude of 163 m on the banks of Turija , the 184 km long tributary of Pripyat , 6 km southeast of the community center Sokolyschtsche ( Соколище ), about 25 km east of the Rajonzentrum Stara Vyzhivka km northwest and about 95 from Oblastzentrum Lutsk .
In the village is the St. Nicholas Monastery, which today has the status of a monument for architecture and culture. The monastery complex consists of the Nikolaikirche, cells with a refectory, an adjoining church, a bell tower, the abbey, the buildings of a former hospital and a parish school. Almost all of the southern wall with entrance gates and part of the western wall are preserved from the monastery wall. The Nikolai Church and the bell tower from 1542 have the greatest artistic and cultural value as the oldest structures in the complex.
