NG3 (abbr .: Nasty Girls Three ; DE : Drei Böse Mädchen ) was a Swedish girl group consisting of Linda Karlsson , Andrea Quinteros and Malin Olsson , the latter being replaced in 2006 by a singer named Diana. The style of the group can be described as a mix of pop and chanting . They were produced by Ari Lehtonen (also known under the pseudonym "Eric LeTennen").
history
Karlsson and Quinteros, the latter of whom have been active in the popular P3mix radio show since the age of 18 , first met during a casting of their Swedish counterparts for pop stars . The later producer Ari Lehtonen was also there and noticed both of them. He later found Malin Olsson, Miss Sweden from 2001, who had since turned her back on beauty pageants. It completed the band, which from now on tried to establish itself under the motto "As nasty as we wanna be". This was followed by three singles, all of which were able to conquer the top 20 of the Swedish Topplistan . The accompanying album, however, flopped. One of the following features with SNAP! who used the three for the remake of his 90s hit Ooops Up! was able to win, was not particularly successful in either Sweden or Germany. After this relative disappointment, the band fell silent. In 2006 a realignment was made, which resulted in a move from Olsson to Diana.
After the lack of new song releases, the band members concentrated on their own projects, such as Karlsson on their own magazine or Quinteros on their career as a DJ. The NG3 project finally fizzled out.
