Harry Graham is a lonely and dejected man who was recently released from prison after serving a sentence for the murder of his wife. His son Jimmy is after him in search of justice and tracks him down in a shabby community living on the coast, where he and his girlfriend Jenny are in love in a trailer park. When Jimmy finally comes face to face with his father, they both know they have to deal with many unresolved emotional barriers in their relationship.
