Nachtwach was a Swiss call-in broadcast that was broadcast live on the radio station Radio SRF 3 and the television station SRF 1 weekly (previously from Monday to Tuesday, from August 22, 2011 from Tuesday to Wednesday) from midnight and one day later has been offered as a podcast . Nachtwach first went on air on February 18, 2007.

In each broadcast, a topic was chosen, which the viewers talked about by telephone with the presenter Barbara Bürer . Life and everyday stories were often taken up as topics, such as the question of what viewers collect or what fears they have. Although a psychological supervisor followed the program in the background and looked after certain callers more intensively and even after the airtime, Nachtwach did not see itself as a counseling program. The program was stopped after 12 years at the end of 2018 for reasons of economy.

In Germany, Radio bigFM broadcasts a weekly night talk late on Sunday evening . TeleZüri and Radio 24 tried a similar format under the title Night Talk . In 1988, RTL Radio and RTL 4 tried out this format with a Nighttalk .
