Nacional 206 is a 2008 documentary by Portuguese director Catarina Alves Costa .

The Oliveira family has been running a textile factory on National Road 206 in Vale do Ave in northern Portugal for 80 years . 1200 workers there produce high-quality textiles around the clock for brands such as Armani and Hugo Boss , 80% of which are exported to Germany, the United States and Japan. Alves Costa depicts the everyday life of the workers in the corridors of the factory and between the huge machines. In interviews they talk about their experiences at work and at school.

The film was in 2008 in the national competition of the Doclisboa .
