Nadja Purtschert (born September 3, 1989 in Pfaffnau ) is a Swiss snowboarder . She starts in the freestyle disciplines.

Career

Purtschert made her World Cup debut in November 2006 in Saas-Fee , which she finished in 24th place on the halfpipe . In the 2007/08 season she won three European Cup races and thus also won the halfpipe rating in the European Cup. At the 2011 Snowboard World Championships in La Molina , she finished 15th on the halfpipe. She achieved her best placings in the World Cup so far in March 2011 in Bardonecchia with sixth place in slopestyle and on the halfpipe. At the 2012 Snowboard World Championships in Oslo , she came ninth in the halfpipe competition. In the same year she became Swiss champion in the halfpipe discipline. At the Snowboard World Championships 2013 in Stoneham she came in 18th place. In her first Olympic participation in Sochi in 2014 , she reached 23rd place on the halfpipe. In March 2015, she took third place in the halfpipe competition at the Burton European Open in Laax .
