Recreation area Fulda-Aue (Fulda)
The local recreation area Fulda-Aue , regionally known primarily as "Aueweiher", is a local recreation area in the East Hessian city of Fulda .
Delimitation of the area
Since the Fulda flows through the city, there are floodplains in large parts of Fulda, especially in the districts in the so-called Fulda valley ( Gläserzell , Kämmerzell and Lüdermünd ).
There are also bike paths and recreational opportunities in these areas. The actual local recreation area Fulda-Auen is, however, in the west of the city center and the south end immediately before the west end with the locality of Neuenberg and the district of Sickels . The local recreation area with the footpaths and bike paths accordingly represents a connection between the local situation Neuenberg in the Westend and the city center.

The fire brigade museum is also located in the local recreation area. It is planned to expand the Aue Park to the south.
